Cecilia Pérez

Cecilia is a partner in our firm and is in charge of the Public Affairs area.

Experience

She was Deputy Director of the National Service for Women (2011), Mayor of the Metropolitan Region (2011-2012), Minister Secretary General of Government in two periods (2012-2014 and 2018-2019) and Minister of Sport (2019-2022). At the same time, she was Vice President of the Fundación Avanza Chile (2014- 2018) and President of the Santiago 2023 Corporation (2019-2021).

She is currently Director of Azul Azul S.A and Vice President of the University Club of Chile.

From her various positions, Cecilia has led some of the most relevant areas at the government, being an expert in communication policy, design of relationship strategies, management of public policies and processing of legislative initiatives. Among her main skills is also the advice in crisis management and strategic communication, having formed and led numerous tables of public-private work and challenges in terms conflict management. 

She has vast experience in communications and media matters, having been a regular panelist for some of the major radio and television programs on current and political issues.

She has been a speaker at various unions, business, universities (in Chile and abroad) meetings, company directories and executive teams, also having an extensive experience in coaching processes (political and communicational) for leaders and politicians.
